Excellent meat and delicious takeout food!!! I love their beef luleh plate! You can order anything from their butcher case and have it barbecued Armenian style (khorovats) or turn it into a plate with all the sides! I’ve lived in Glendale my whole life and had kabob and khorovats from many places and this place is one of my top three places! The flavor is delicious and the service is amazing, very kind and welcoming! It’s also busy during lunch hour so call and place your order ahead of time. I had them make barbecue for family events and it’s always a hit! I’m not Armenian and even my Armenian friends come to this place to have food made for their parties and gatherings so you know it’s good!

I had a fantastic experience at Ararat Meat and Fish Market in Glendale and will definitely be coming back. From the moment I walked in, everything stood out—the store was clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with high-quality products. The selection of meats and seafood was especially impressive. Everything looked incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they take pride in the quality of what they offer. Whether you’re looking for something specific or just browsing, there’s a great variety to choose from. The staff were another highlight of my visit. They were friendly, attentive, and very helpful when I had questions. It’s always a great feeling to shop somewhere where the team is both knowledgeable and welcoming. Ararat Fish and Meat has some of the freshest products I’ve found. The quality of the meat is consistently high, and everything is well-cut and clean. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, making it easy to find exactly what you need. Definitely a reliable spot if you care about quality.

They boiled the crawfish with straight tails, dead ones, and if we hadn’t known better, we could’ve gotten seriously food-poisoned. But we didn’t eat them at all because they were so oversalted — like they used a whole kilo of salt — completely inedible. And for $35, they gave us the size they advertise for $25. I was cheated three times — out of money, out of quality, and could’ve been poisoned if they hadn’t oversalted them... I live in San Diego, and driving all the way to your store to pick up $70 is honestly ridiculous. You told me that next time I should just ask you not to oversalt them, because that’s how you usually cook them. You sold me a smaller size and oversalted them — that alone would’ve been unpleasant but not the end of the world. But boiling dead crawfish is unacceptable. Yes, I thought for a long time about whether to leave this review, but I decided I don’t want to come back to you again, because I don’t want to be deceived a second time. And your dishonest response only confirms that my decision was right. You’re still trying to blame me… According to you, we oversalted the crawfish because we came after 1 hour and 10 minutes instead of 2 hours. So that’s w
